Job applicants and staff: contact details, employment history, references, qualifications and training, right to work documents, DBS check results, bank and payroll details, and health information needed to keep you and the people you support safe.
Clients and families: contact details, care needs, health and support information, and details of the people involved in your care.
Website visitors: information you send us through forms or email, and limited technical data needed to run the site securely.
We use personal data to recruit and employ staff, deliver and plan safe care, meet our legal and regulatory duties, including those of the Care Quality Commission, and respond to your enquiries. Our lawful bases are contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and, for health and care information, the provision of health or social care. Criminal record data is processed under the conditions allowed for employment and safeguarding.
Only where needed: the Disclosure and Barring Service, HMRC and our payroll provider, health and social care professionals involved in someone's care, local authorities and the NHS, the Care Quality Commission, our IT and HR providers under contract, and anyone we are legally required to share with.
We keep records only as long as needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal, regulatory and insurance requirements. Unsuccessful applications are deleted after a set period. Care records are kept in line with guidance for social care records.
Data is held on secure systems with access limited to staff who need it, protected by encryption, passwords and audit logs.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete or restrict it where the law allows, object to certain uses, and ask for data you gave us to be transferred. Contact us using the details below.
